Morozov Wins 50 At Short Course World Championships




Dec. 14, 2012
USC junior Vladimir MOROZOV, a bronze medalist at the Olympics earlier this year, won a gold medal
Wednesday (Dec. 14) in the 50-meter freestyle on the third day of the 2012 FINA Short Course
World Championships in Istanbul, Turkey.
Morozov, swimming for Russia, won the race in 20.55, well ahead of France's Florent Manaudou
(20.88) and America's Anthony Ervin (20.99). Morozov's time also broke USC's record in the short course 50.
